Program Benefits

Instructors will receive:

• Assistance connecting with international clients to customize a global project relevant to your course. While we facilitate connections and provide guidance, we encourage faculty to actively network and identify a flexible project topic that can accommodate a variety of clients.
• Guidance on integrating global learning principles into the course and aligning the project with assignments and overall course goals.
• Ongoing guidance throughout the process of preparing and implementing a global project in the classroom, including collaborating with the client and developing a mutually beneficial project.
• Access to speakers and materials that help students better understand the project's context.
• Inclusion in a network of 51ºÚÁÏÍø faculty engaged in global, project-based learning. 
  

Expectations

Instructors are expected to:

• Implement a client-based project in the upcoming Spring, Summer or Fall semesters. Inquiries about projects beyond the upcoming academic year or later are also welcome. 
• Participate in regular meetings with the Global Learning Specialist.
• Distribute a participation survey to students to assess their experience.
• Encourage students to present their work at the annual Global Learning Showcase held at the end of each spring semester.
• Share course materials that other faculty can adapt, such as student learning outcomes, assignments, and rubrics.

Open to all instructors of record on any 51ºÚÁÏÍø campus.
